Solution is simple, community should turn any suspiciously product focused thread into an advertisers nightmare of filth
Then the ads will just be the ones with the comment sections turned off

This image of a cube conveys an emotion I do not know the word for.
What is "the enshitification face"
I can only imagine horrible things
You wanted to say "You can be on lemmy without bringing reddit here." And phrased it as a bad question so you could post it here. You just want to soapbox.
Managing the content of your own feed is your responsibility. If people post off topic in communities, handle it with a report, not another post.
You are creating what you are complaining about. This thread is the most discussion about reddit I've seen in a week or more.
It seems there are a lot of common misconceptions about how stuff works on lemmy. I regularly see people not understanding what community or instance they are posting on. It wouldn't suprise me if this person didn't have any idea who they were reporting content to.
People keep saying this but I guess I'm on the lucky slow end of the rollout because I haven't had my adblock stop working yet.
But they've done this before, it's just a cycle. If I have to, I'll start using a new adblocker, or entirely diffent way to access the videos, once an option becomes available shortly, inevitably. No reason to worry about this long term IMO.
I really disagree. For learning lemmy for average people, big instance is best.
There is a point where people who stick around are likely to make a new "real" account on a different smaller server, after they know what they want to browse.
Basically big instances should be like training wheels.
"Mountain campsite says the women fled into the wilderness after struggling to cope with societal changes in recent years"
I can relate to this.

“God was with them,” said Jara
Oh, no I can't. Huh.
So it seems like Linus is a self-centered, unempathetic kinda boss, who doesn't have even a correct understanding of how to be a better employer.
On the other hand, that is how 90% of all owner/bosses of all business I've ever interacted with are.
There isn't a point to this observation I'm just sad about it :(
Trump is gunna die of a heart attack the day before he gets convicted and no one is gunna know how to feel about it.
Ew you got some politicalcompassmemes on your post.
Otherwise good tho
