Although consuming this ingredient can put you at risk for digestive issues, one potential xylitol benefit seems to be its ability to improve oral health.

This appears to be widely held by most health care professionals and dentists. In fact, the dental community is one of its biggest supports of xylitol because of its reported ability to prevent cavities.

For example, according to a study published in the Journal of Dental Education, “The replacement of sucrose with sorbitol and xylitol may significantly decrease the incidence of dental caries.”

Research tells us that xylitol may be able to help prevent cavities because it cannot be metabolized by plaque bacteria, unlike other forms of sugar. This means that it can have beneficial effects on the oral flora (microbes living in your mouth) not shared by other sweeteners.

Because mouth bacteria can’t use xylitol as a source of energy, it may help prevent tooth decay (such as bacteria like Streptococcus mutans) and the buildup of plaque on your teeth.

Interesting, there are conflicting reports, and we cannot jump to the conclusion that xylitol is completely effective at keeping cavities at bay. In the words of a frequently cited review in the journal Caries Research, “There is no evidence for a caries-therapeutic effect of xylitol,”which makes us wonder what side of the coin to believe.

Overall, sugar-free xylitol chewing gum and the amount used to sweeten toothpaste or mouthwash seems to be relatively harmless, but it’s still not recommended to consume this ingredient in large amounts from foods.

I hope I’m not out of line here, but I would really like to give some thoughts on this. I’m 32 years old and married. So not that young to you probably.

But everyone around me is also on all social media platforms. The people I work with, family and friends. Except my wife who doesn’t care for social media at all.

Anyway. None of them thinks about that. At all. I tried to convince them to just drop Whatsapp and use Signal instead, but even that was like I was trying to get them in some kind of church.

I just pre ordered the fairphone5 (I just like what they are doing) and plan to flash e\OS.

Das ist purer bullshit. Hier ein paar Infos von mir als Ernährungsberater und Powerlifter:

Grundsätzliches zum Proteinbedarf: Abhängig von dem Sport den du betreibst sind in der Regel 1,5-2g pro kg Körpergewicht erforderlich (Die Athleten bei der Tour de France z.B. ballern mehr als 3g weil der Verbrauch und Bedarf so hoch ist)

Die Quellen dafür: Ich denke mal diese sind den meisten bekannt.

  • Fisch -Fleisch -Eier -Milchprodukte (Käse, Quark etc.) -Soja -Bohnen jeglicher Art

Je nach Ernährunsweise (Geschmack, Moral, Allergien etc.) solltest du dir da verschiedenes raussuchen

Gut zu wissen hierbei: die Aminosäuren in in Fisch, Fleisch und Ei enthalten sind werden vorwiegend in der Leber verstoffwechselt und die Aminosäuren aus Milchprodukten und Pflanzeneiweiß hauptsächlich in den Muskeln (für diejenigen die eventuell Probleme mit der Leber haben z.B.) Eigentlich ist es recht einfach seinen Bedarf so zu decken. Vergiss aber hier nicht deine Kohlenhydrate und Fette. Und Gemüse so viel wie geht. Nicht nur für Vitamine sondern auch Ballaststoffe.

Ich verstehe natürlich das viele oft unter Zeitdruck stehen und sich mal schnell einen Shake machen wollen.

Wenn dem so ist empfehle ich bei Whey lieber etwas ohne Geschmack. In der Regel ist da mehr Protein auf 100g weil der andere Kram nicht drin ist (Süßstoffe, Aromen etc.)

Wenn es pflanzlich sein soll dann fermentierte Erbsenprotein (das hat einen soliden Aminosäurespiegel)

Natürlich kannst du dir da auch was mit Geschmack holen wenn dir das lieber ist.

Am Ende ist das etwas sehr individuelles. Du kannst mich auch gerne anschreiben wenn du möchtest dann können wir da etwas individueller planen falls du Hilfe brauchst oder generelle Infos oder Ideen suchst.

Und nein ich werde das nicht berechnen :D

The counter for the “upvotes” on post and comments are all over the place. They change all the time, sometimes showing just a zero. It’s not really important, just weird. Maybe it has something to do with the update of the server
