to be fair, the creator/writer has said that he formulated the plot while he was working in an office - they might not have set out to strictly write a show purely critiquing labour from a marxist perspective, but at the same time it does seem like a natural conclusion that the show arrives at based on how the show tries to tie so many threads back to the alienation at the base of the concept

not to metagame things, but I think there's 0 percent chance Irv is gone for good - he's not yet transferred ANY of the information he knows to the rest of the gang either inside or outside, so I figure he MUST be coming back at some point. I don't think we'll see Innie Irv for a while, but I suspect we're about to start picking up with Outtie Irv. On top of that, I'm also interested in what actually happens after the episode ends - Irv is being switched off in the middle of the forest, surrounded by the rest of MDR - does his Outtie immediately wake up? Does he go into a coma and then the Outtie wakes at home? In which case, how the fuck would you explain what's happened, given the Outtie MUST have signed something at some point to allow Lumon to have control over their Innie for at least two days (to allow them to camp over night). I also can't help but feel like there's something more to this ORTBO potentially - it feels like this episode ended in a way that I suspect the next episode might pick up IMMEDIATELY where we left off
but also I might be wrong who knows
our intelligent "wait on China's inevitable collapse", their manipulative "taking advantage of disruption"
the truth is that most libs genuinely do believe the right wing "they're just saying what everyone's thinking", they just add "but youre not supposed to say that"
absolutely no work done to remove brainworms
guys we have to take this seriously, if we stop being racist we're gonna forget what democracy is

mostly anecdotal but still:
-
not everyone gets this, but you might find your tastes (as in, like your tastebuds) might change - some stuff you might not have liked before you might end up liking
-
hair obviously changes, but hair type can change pretty dramatically for some people - just a result of different chemical signals going to your scalp, as far as I understand it :)
-
make sure you keep up your water and your eating, cos you're gonna need both of those a whole bunch more, especially early on
-
also be prepared to hit things a bunch as you re-adjust to a new shape and centre of gravity over time :P
congrats!! march can't come fast enough
who's learning the lesson and feeling the pain? the trans people dying or the immigrants being deported? cos they're both not gonna be there to vote for you in 4 years, dickheads
but sure, don't do anything about anything and I'm sure the public will suddenly flip for ya
Hey, look I don't want to argue either - but I do have to let you know at this point, I have played POE1, bounced off it multiple times, have completed the campaign but haven't gone back since. POE2 kind of is what's gotten me back to paying Path of Exile, and while I appreciate the invite I don't really think it's going to sway me in the way you believe it will. But still, appreciate the offer and understand where you're trying to come from - but again, it's the assumption that I haven't played something better being the only reason why I don't necessarily have the same views you do, which I think you can see has not been a fair assumption this entire time.
this is not a full vod, but his whole alien rant is basically what you're describing
