Gotta downvote this link to a horrible site. So many ads and pop-ups, and I never saw the picture in question

There's nothing wrong with those hands. There's ~15-18 fingers between the two of them and the joints are totally in the right place.

[-] jjjalljs@ttrpg.network 4 points 2 months ago

Oh gosh I looked at the hand and think I lost 2d4 sanity points.

[-] AA5B@lemmy.world 3 points 2 months ago

And the other hand is giant. Trump is well known for his giant manly hands

[-] billwashere@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

It’s like an eldritch horror.

[-] billwashere@lemmy.world 1 points 2 months ago

Yeah why are the hands such a dead giveaway. If AI fixes that it will be so much harder to prove. Now there is always something that just seems wrong with the pics but the hands are so much easier to quantify.

It’s amazing how many glitches people are able to spot. I don’t really have an eye for that level of detail but usually just get a vague unnaturallness

At this point they're long-standing bugs.

Haha they think he would be caught dead wearing jeans. Jeans are poor people's clothes.

I use Android (Samsung) and I've never been able to find one that works. Sometimes I use Chrome, but many apps, like Connect for Lemmy have a builtin web viewer that I think is using the native web browser (so I need something that covers both). I would appreciate any suggestions.

Firefox+ublock origin

I'm on a Galaxy S-10e. Firefox + ublock origin.

[-] CaptnNMorgan@lemmy.world 2 points 2 months ago

Firefox with ublock origin (like the others said) works and for other "entertainment" apps there are apps you can use outside of the Google play store to get around ads

Generally “Reader Mode” is sufficient and I have my browser set to that by default. However sometimes sites are not functional in reader mode and those are usually the same ones that are most toxic.

It also drives home the point of how poor the internet is with accessibility. Imagine having to rely on reader mode to get through the toxic sludge that makes up most of the internet, but yet we have to rely on every day

Edit: yes, I was also using an adblocker but iPhone adblockers are limited and in this case useless
