Contrary to popular belief, he did try out other career paths before getting into clowning. Unfortunately, his size 23 (US) feet made his work extremely difficult when he interned as a hitman, an air traffic controller, and a longshoreman.
Not enough ready to acknowledge that, unfortunately.
My comapnion used to work for a clown festival with multiple days of clowns doing street theater, it was really great.
