I don't care about being beautiful (okay maybe a little bit but not much) I care about looking like a woman. If I could look in the mirror and see a woman I'd be happy even if I was conventionally unattractive
Unpack this - the definition of who looks "like a woman" is also based on western beauty standards.
You already look like a woman because you are one (If indeed thst is how you identify)
While this is technically correct advice, I find it often obfuscates a pretty typical trans experience. It's like saying you shouldn't worry about money because it's not real.
Trans people pursue medical intervention to make them more identifiably their preferred gender and this includes many visual elements.
This visual element also largely determines whether you get harassed in public or gendered correctly.
