People are using LLMs as search engines when these things require at least 10x the energy to achieve the same result. If all Google queries were transferred to LLMs we wouldn't have enough energy in the world to power that crap.

Fuck LLMs, stop being lazy.

Not to mention that they’re actively training our replacements, while simultaneously teaching generative AI how to better exploit human ignorance.

Of course if Google was the Google of 10+ years ago and actually provides you with relevant, good search results instead of ad infested dribble that would help.
