It's only genocide if it comes from the genocide region of Germany, otherwise it's sparkling Ethnic Cleansing.

I too have a hard time distinguishing between “good” and “bad” things.

The “radical Islamic fundamentalism” thing was a cynical, racist ploy from the GOP to fire up their little hogs. We call it a genocide because it is a genocide, jfc this isn’t hard. If there was a word that described something worse than a genocide I would use that word, because what is happening in Gaza is one of the worst crimes committed in this world in decades.

It still hurts to see him use euphimisms like this directly afterwards

"He added: “I think I, and a majority of the American people, do not want to be complicit in the humanitarian disaster that Netanyahu is causing in Gaza right now.”

but it's further that I thought he was prepared to go.
