Getting a post removed for misgendering isn't an attack on you it's a protection for the person being misgendered. One of my trans enby comrades is AMAB and the amount of times they have had their day ruined because someone said "thank you sir" or "hey dude" or whatever is honestly surprising to me but those words are something they want to distance themselves from and even if it's not meant as an attack on them it hurts them when it happens. Intent doesn't matter, your impact does. I've learned to fiercely protect them and all the other comrades in my life as a result because there's just no reason for people to be hurting them like that even accidentally.

Honestly I've had posts removed for misgendering by accident too it doesn't mean I'm some raging bigot it just meant I was careless, someone else had to clean it up for me, and I need to do better next time.

It's not about you. Just do better that's all anyone is asking.
