i mean legit if the military is just exclusively deployed to do stuff like this in the U.S. (doubtful with the Iran war possibly coming) we might actually see a lib Carnation Revolution at some point
no foreigners to murder, just being stuck in terrible conditions while a whole city of treats is just out of reach. it's like being home but not. and I know there are plenty of psychos who want nothing more then to die mothafucker die a .50 cal into a packed crowd of liberal boomers but we aren't quite the Imperium of Man yet and i can't imagine murdering their own neighbors (only to return to a cold floor) will go over well with the majority
either way, fragging is a thing. and more regretful, anti-imperialist former troops (that renounce their former career) with training and skills can't hurt a nascent leftist movement
Honestly this war could potentially be used as a scotch tape measure to hold an angry country together, cause nothing sees greater bipartisan support than wars (against the global South; a war against a Western country would be treated as a grave crime because libs see Westerners as human beings)
yeah i thought about this exact thing after I posted that. I can already see the gears turning on reddit and shit as the libs prepare themselves to "liberate the oppressed women" (i guess from their lives)
they're weir 1 or 2 pre-Luigis in Q4 2024 by former troops, kind of surprised there hasn't been more since.
and let's also not forget
also don't forget Aaron Bushnell, a different kind of Luigi but important nonetheless
