Insanity is the only acceptable answer.

[–] LaunchesKayaks@lemmy.world 2 points 4 hours ago

Bro you can't just type problematic shit like that. You'll get banned from the Internet. Spell it like this bathr00m to get around filters.

[–] ripcord@lemmy.world 10 points 9 hours ago (1 children)

I can't believe you just typed it out like that

Extreme paranoia about being pushed down in the algorithm because of puritanical social media platforms not liking certain words would be my guess. Bathroom = toilet = penis/vagina/ass = demotion in the algorithm.

I can't prove it but that's my theory. Either way, if a platform punishes you for saying innocent words, and you are obsessed with maximising the reach of your shitposts, then the platform is shit and you are an idiot.

[–] ByteMe@lemmy.world 4 points 11 hours ago

I don't think it's a theory, I'm pretty sure that YouTube and Instagram would demonitize or shadow ban you if you use some of these words.

"Bathroom" is a political thing in the US.

[–] bigboismith@lemmy.world 29 points 17 hours ago (1 children)

Probably to drive engagement from people like you asking why bathroom is censored

[–] HonoraryMancunian@lemmy.world 9 points 15 hours ago (2 children)

I would bet my r*ght nut that this is the real reason

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 1 points 29 minutes ago

Is that one dill or bread and butter pickled I want to know what I'm betting on

[–] atomicorange@lemmy.world 16 points 15 hours ago (2 children)

Why would you censor “raght” it’s not even a word?

[–] ArcaneSlime@lemmy.dbzer0.com 3 points 3 hours ago (1 children)

[–] osanna@lemmy.vg 3 points 2 hours ago

[–] JennaR8r@lemmy.dbzer0.com 5 points 9 hours ago
