It hasn't been long since Tears of the Kingdom so it might be a while. I hope we get something within couple of years though.
The next Zelda will be a launch title for the Switch 3.
Both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom ended up in their list of best selling games, I doubt they will skip a whole generation.
It will likely come late in the generation as a bridge to Switch 3, as Twilight Princess and Breath of the Wild were.
Heh, if we didn't get a new Zelda game for Switch 2, I am going to blame you and @samus12345@sh.itjust.works 😄

Of right I forgot about that one. I haven't played it, I was/am still kinda tired of the first one after 100%ing it
Just getting thru it myself. Actually just got my last shrines and light roots yesterday and headed to the final battle now.
It’s a joy to play on the Switch2 at 4k60 with very few frame drops.
I did the same for the first one. While the second was definitely fun, I didn't really care for how they reused the old world. Definitely give some time between so you can also hit that nostalgia by revisiting the old places, but with a twist
