This actually looks like one of the better theoretical balkanization maps I've seen, these areas would be communist strongholds while the rest of the land are wastelands of roaming fascist and cultist gangs.
Nice. Good idea for a mod. Or a rpg campaign
needs to be adjusted slightly for mountainous occupation and flood plains
