Or there isn't actually damning evidence of Bill raping children. His whole scandal and impeachment was about a voluntary blowjob from a consenting adult.
It could also be that he doesn't think it will actually be released and is playing the odds.
To be fair, Lewinsky has come around to saying the power imbalance was too high for her to have meaningfully consented, and I've been thinking that since I was a kid in the 90s. But yeah, she was in her early 20s, still young but not a child
That too, just the fact that he said go for it instead of pulling every stunt possible to hide things is a fine start for me. As I recall it the impeachment was officially for lying about it to congress, but they would have taken any reason to cast stones at the guy.
Fun fact, despite the GOP claiming to be that party of fiscal responsibility, Clinton was the last president to actually have a balanced budget. Add in now that they're trying to use Clinton as a scapegoat while claiming 'part of morality' while the guy in office has been accused multiple times, caught on tape 'grab em by', and those are even before the current files.
It's almost like they've been talking out their ass for decades.
If there is any evidence the only chance he has to go down with a little less shit on his persona is by owning up and being that sacrifice.

Who would be so charitable and risk last years with the stress and ruined legacy just to attack someone who did the same thing.
The fact that all trump published was just pictures from public events that were already known (one (where there also was Michael Jackson) wasn't even related to Epstein) tells me there's not much on Clinton there, because if there was I'm sure he would release something fat at this point.
