Libbo 1biden-alert :

I feel like this sort of post is more likely from Russian bots than actual humans..

Like it's basically dehumanizing Americans that are showing some actual empathy.

canadian kkkanada : lmao its absolutely not, its telling you to call your fucking senators and congresspeople before he fucking cancels elections

I can assure you were are doing so in record numbers.

Only 1 in 5 Americans voted for him. I've seen estimates of over 10,000 protests in the past year.

This reply really proves my post. Expressing empathy ≠ doing nothing. The people upset about it here are quite often doing a lot more than posting online.

Oh well thanks, I will go change things now that you mention it. What a helpful suggestion we'd not yet thought of.

“focus on actually changing something while you still can”

My Swedish homie there have been protests on basically every weekend since Donald Trump took office. The state of Minnesota has been protesting daily for the past 2 weeks.

Things change w/ elections, which is in Nov.

bro, just give me 11 months

I try so hard to stay away from posts like this, because lib bullshit is poison. That being said...

Even if none of the Greenland shit ever happened, Trump never so much as uttered the word, the takeaway of this post is still true. It was true under Biden, Obama, Bush and every administration that perpetuated Amerikkkan imperialism - it just typically happened to countries the average lib doesn't even think about, let alone have empathy for. They get so uncomfortable when confronted by their privilege in the world. "Where's your nuance?!" they say, but where's their nuance required to read the room and let people vent without harassment in their own country's subreddit lol. "We really don't want to invade Greenland" they say, as they flood into r/Greenland and immediately set the terms and conditions for how you're allowed to talk about Amerikkkans.

Since this one hit close to home:

I’m trans I barely get treated like a person and have my options severely limited. Don’t give me that shit about how every American is responsible when we tried to tell people and got ridiculed and called slurs for it and got [SA] threats. Kiss my ass.

Oh shut up. In the same way that people on here aren't going to storm the trans mega and tell me "there are good cis people, actually" you need to think past your own problems and let people express themselves. How is every lib's ego so fragile that even the slightest acknowledgement of anyone else's problems over theirs invokes the most self righteous tantrum?

Another trans person brought up this is "victim blaming" LMAO, yeah okay Amerikkkans truly are the victims that should be the first thought on everyone's minds here.

liberal individualism has developed into a complete lack of social skills. i genuinely don't believe these people can conceptualize that others have an inland empire exactly the same as they do. also they think words are actions so for them more of them have been attacked than 9/11

But i voted blue

Every day I am more and more sure that the greatest enemy of the global south is the white working class labor aristocracy.

So much main character energy in this thread, and not one mention of the collective punishment of sanctions that the US has been putting on nations, both Democrats and Republicans, for decades.

all this "division" talk as if there was ever any unity beyond posting spam on reddit
