This is just a shitty version of that actually good Luigi meme

also:

I’m not saying you’re right or wrong but it is certainly interesting that the most prominent tankie specimens on the fediverse average 20+ essay-length comments per day while I get fed jacketed if I spend more than 2 paragraphs refuting their bullshit.

Strange that these self described proles have enough free time between their subsistence wage earning and real life praxis to write a small novel per week…

What else but proles would they be? And why do proles have to have subsistence wages?

people are already dunking on this but what the fuck did this dude think he was saying? men in literal prison read old books. reading political theory is one of the cheapest god damn things you can do. it's basically free. as a form of self improvement and education it's one of the simplest things a prole can do over their existing work schedule.

god damn I'm mad bro was not cooking with this one

Liberals not even realizing they're doing the reactionary thing of shitting on basic literacy.

[–] TheSpectreOfGay@hexbear.net 18 points 1 day ago

i think they mean writing long comments, not actually reading theory. which is even funnier to me tbh

Not to mention, Lemmy is a small collection of internet forums with almost no real impact.

Why would Russia, China, or whoever, care to do influence operations here?

[–] InexplicableLunchFiend@hexbear.net 37 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Someone needs to tell them 85% of political bots online are NATO aligned

[–] arcticx@lemmy.ml 22 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Plus influence operations are engaging with and creating memetic content to create the perception of mass movements — not writing 25 paragraph essays about Marxism.

They shrug that off by saying we aren’t really writing essays, we are just using ChatGPT

Yep that’s right, the AI loving Hexbear is just using LLMs to argue with each other back and forth about Marxist theory. Sounds completely plausible lmao

We are probably the last place on the internet not using LLMs at all tbh
