A folk belief has arisen among some young men that they can reshape their face bones to be more aesthetically pleasing by creating microfractures and letting them heal. It's unclear how many people are actually doing this, because anything people say that they do on the internet is going to be rife with people just playing along without actually doing it, but there are a few influencers who do it on camera so the number isn't zero.
This reminds me of the meme "to become bulletproof begin by shooting yourself with smaller caliber bullets to build resistance"
Muay Thai fighters purposefully break their shins so they heal and become stronger. Younguns decided to employ this technique for the face.
Why does their face need to be stronger? Who are they going to fight with their face? 🤔
