Piracy is good and you should do more of it. Use https://aniwave.to/ and https://4anime.gg/ for streaming, and https://nyaa.si/ for torrents. Piracy is the only means of digital protest that audiences have to fight poor worker treatment.

Dudes rock, I think? Maybe?
The post he's retweeting is obviously ironic, so I think yes
That's what I was hoping but it's getting harder for me to tell these days
I've read volumes 1-13 (in English). The author is clearly a liberal. So, it could go either way as far as I know.
all 4 characters portrayed in the actual image are from the same work done by this author so it is definitely ironic
I didn't find that obvious. Hypermasculine gay men have always been a thing and gay men who fetishize hypermasculinity even moreso. There is a sizeable MPREG fandom as well. And gay fascists have been around since before Hitlerism and are unfortunately way too real nowadays. Yes, the intersection between all three is a fairly small Venn diagramm overlap, a lot of people would make this post ironically, but there's 4chan Ernst Röhms and omegaverse tradwifes that would post this sincerely.
I think "trad values" "mpreg" is a pretty solid tell that the more likely explanation is irony even if you can't 100% rule out him being an extraordinarily brainwormed neopagan fascist.
Issa joke
He also wrote Planetes, which was at least socially progressive -- prominent female black character, not caricatured either -- though I don't remember the rest of the politics well (it's been holy shit more than twenty years since I read it and iirc the anime did its own thing with the terrorist plot). I was a fan long before Vinland Saga took off and he did always give me the impression he was left adjacent but that was also before I became a commie, lol
