One of the biggest problems with racism/bigotry like this is that the average person sees it as a one way thing - whites being racist to others.
As you can see from some guy whose surname is Gonzales talking about Jews, that racism is everywhere.
I've heard Indians say racist shit against Chiinese people. I've heard Chinese people say racist shit against Jewish people. I've heard white people say racist shit against black people. I've heard black people say racist shit against Korean people. Etc, etc, etc...ad infinitum.
It's not just one group or one race. Every culture has its bigots who think their culture is superior to all others and will diminish others because of it.
We all need to do better and hold everyone accountable for what they say.
When I got to college, I was surprised to discover that each Asian ethnic group was incredibly insular. Japanese, Koreans and Chinese did not interact, but rather had their own cliques, with no interest in expanding their social circle.
It's not too surprising given the history between those nations and ethnic groups.
Which I would go on to learn rather quickly. World History in primary and secondary schools ignored Asia completely, minus some shit about ancient Chinese dynasties and early developments in the Indus Valley. From there, it was radio silence to WWII, when the Japanese appear.
Absent context, it was weird to me that people of any of the three nationalities would hang out with Whites ahead of being forced to deal with their own neighbouring ethnicities.
White racists are the ones causing the most damage in America. They make the laws and are in authority positions.
