This "Lesser Evilsm^tm^" has always been the main Democrat appeal. But it has been amazing once Trump became the Republican nominee in 2016, how thoroughly the Democrats embrace the belief "we are the party without Trump, how dare you ask for, or have any standards, other than that"
Yeah, it used to be the main appeal, then it was the only appeal. Now its just
