Btw current temperatures are pretty mild for a february in Estonia, between -5 to +6 in night and day respectively. And NATO junk breaks from that?

From my time in heavy mechanized units in the USArmy, its pretty common for about 75% of all a unit's equipment is barely maintained well enough to do a short field exercise just to make the "numbers".

Actually drive the things rough and all that shoddy maintenance becomes painfully apparent.

Everything I hear about the US military points to some sort of institutional rot. All that funding must be going straight to MICs.
