So I'm gonna be a crying mess because i tried out Hunt Showdown 1896 yesterday trying to run away and find somewhere safe away from all the monsters and end up trying to dodge being conscripted into ww1 a few years later. At least if I survive I can try to work my way into joining the Bolsheviks or grifting my way into economic and political power through abuse of future knowledge and try and lobby FDR to keep Wallace as his VP. Lots of possibilities as long as I can escape that spiritual hocus pocus zombie bullshit.

What about you folks?

Grim Dawn avgn-horror

Outside the settlement where 10 or so people are hiding out, there are 325764032513214 monsters who would disembowel us on sight. Now somebody has to go out and tend to the crops or we will starve.

Played Final Fantasy X-2. I'm in the Eternal Calm of Spira.

A tropical environment full of beautiful places and phenomena. And if I'm careful, I don't have to worry about a violent death.

It's low key one of the most optimistic Final Fantasy settings.

Since Tidus was technically isekai'd at the beginning of X, I would have a precedent for being taken seriously by characters who would care to know someone from another world.

If that's the case, I'd want to be a spellcaster in whatever adventures there are to be had.

Tech billionaires created a rogue AI that made our robot slaves fight back. Then a bunch of cops and soldiers formed a paramilitary vigilante group that invaded other nations and conducted corporate espionage in the name of a rules based world order. Then they were banned because their members became corrupt and started working for personal gain. Now they're all back in action because the liberal world government failed to suppress the slave robot uprising. My day-to-day is being terrorized in the town's square because the vigilantes and anti-heroes are fighting on my subway platform.

It'll be either Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3 or Dota 2 (depending on what I was playing before bed)

Honestly, could be worse.

Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade spoilersI'm currently the resident tactician of three lords from the Lycian League. Lyn of Caelin, Eliwood of Pherae, and Hector of Ostia. We and our companions march towards Nergal, corrupt usurper of the honorable Black Fang, a mercenary group headquartered in the Kingdom of Bern. Once a group that went after corruption, the Black Fang has now fallen to corruption itself, as Nergal attempts to bring dragons back to this world. It's up to the three lords, as well as me now, to save Lycia, Bern, and the world as a whole.

I have no idea what compelled me to visit this place

Heroes of Might and Magic 3. Medieval fantasy setting, so statistically speaking I'm probably a you-are-a-serf

Last game I played was iRacing, so comparatively things would turn out well for me.

I played Into the Breach. I guess I'm pretty screwed up regardless of whether I end up as a civilian in a building or in a mech, endlessly jumping between timelines unti i finally die.
