JD Vance puts his futon in his mouth again

quality

[-] gravitas_deficiency@sh.itjust.works 33 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Seriously though I fucking LOVE that the heterosectional trolling has not only gained a life of its own, but that were starting to see a lot of journalists slip in oblique references to it in tangentially related content. It must be driving Vance INSANE, and I love that for him.

[-] pyre@lemmy.world 17 points 4 months ago

this wouldn't have worked if he didn't look exactly like the kind of guy who would do it (which is why their weirdo "horse cum" rumor attempt didn't work on walz), and it wouldn't stay relevant if it didn't so visibly bother him so much.

[-] PsychedSy@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 4 months ago

I'll check with the 'necks at work, but I don't think anyone actually gives a shit. I'm not sure it's doing any favors for the dems.

Between couches and jars of jizz, I'd support Biden pointing our nuclear arsenal at our own cities and going ham. Motherfuckers can't even bother saying each other's names. It's over. Time to go, lads.

Id say we had a good run, but we absolutely have not.

[-] Ensign_Crab@lemmy.world 57 points 4 months ago

The Ferengi accent isn't helping. "Feeeemayles"

[-] DmMacniel@feddit.org 23 points 4 months ago

So that Roswell Episode was actually real. There are Ferengi ~~amongus~~ in our midst.

[-] DandomRude@lemmy.world 50 points 4 months ago

The only voters not repelled by his creepy views are... well... creeps.

[-] Sanctus@lemmy.world 45 points 4 months ago

Referring to women as females will do that all on its own.

[-] ramenshaman@lemmy.world 40 points 4 months ago

The more I hear about him the more I think he's gay and too afraid to embrace it.

[-] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 16 points 4 months ago

Tbh, I think he probably would have married a white woman if it was just for appearances, but suppressing bisexuality also woeks

[-] some_guy 2 points 4 months ago

He idolizes Peter Thiel. Thiel bankrolled the Hulk Hogan lawsuit that put Gawker out of business. Gawker had outed him as gay and the suit was revenge.

[-] Warl0k3@lemmy.world 1 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

Peter Thiel is an asshole! Fuck that guy! But he doesn't deserve the credit for taking gawker down, his suit was a wash except the judge ordered them to take down the sex tape that they had leaked. And then they refused to do that. And you know what, I'm not going to weep over losing them. They were integral to incubating the culture of paparazzi, and I have no sympathy for people that leak private videos like that. Hell, Thiel was pretty justified to sue them. He's a rich asshole and really I don't care what happens to him, but Gawker delighted in outing people in ex: popular memes, and that could easily get someone killed. I'm just disappointed they didn't get jail time for their shit.

Quark is way more charming that JD.

Hell, Brunt is more charming.

Trump is gonna ramble on about what a "woman job" means in an attempt at damage control, mid-debate with Kamala, and the collective sound of 100 million Americans sharply inhaling will echo through all the streets when he unintentionally endorses her on national TV

[-] LowleeKun@feddit.org 18 points 4 months ago

Very good. I hope they continue to behave like unhinged cavemen. This way i won't have to worry about november 🙏 I never would have thought that putting Harris in to the race at this point of time would be this effective. Got me worried for quite a time. These last weeks have been a relieve, even though i know we are not safe yet (far from it but i needed a little breather).

[-] Reyali@lemm.ee 9 points 4 months ago

I agree with everything you said, except worrying about November. Stay worried, stay motivated to vote, and motivate others. Too often right-wing policies or candidates have gotten voted in because the left thought they had it in the bag and didn’t bother to vote.

[-] LowleeKun@feddit.org 6 points 4 months ago

You are right. Will do, but as a german i will have to vote next year 😉.

[-] Drusas@fedia.io 2 points 4 months ago

You've got your own battles with the far right to fight. We need to be vigilant the world over.

[-] Spacehooks@reddthat.com 13 points 4 months ago

Give him more rope!

[-] cyborganism@lemmy.ca 5 points 4 months ago

Must be a fan of that bald bloke with sunglasses whose name I rather not say.

[-] Viking_Hippie@lemmy.world 5 points 4 months ago

Ben Kingsley in the summer? 😛

[-] morphballganon@lemmynsfw.com 8 points 4 months ago

Voldemort in the summer. No one is afraid of saying Ben Kingsley's name.

[-] StrandedInTimeFall@lemm.ee 5 points 4 months ago

Keep up the good work. Not sure how Trump ever turned on any women except with his checkbook. Hell, he has to pay his wife to show up and talk to gay republicans. JD Vance some how got a woman to think he's decent enough to marry. Probably because he agrees with his stupid takes. Dude should be moderating some thinly veiled red-pill forum some where.

You know what's just as bad as male MAGA republicans? The women that adore them. Given the chance, they would prostitute their wives for a 10 point lead in the polls.

[-] Empricorn@feddit.nl 4 points 4 months ago

It's not fair to put all that at the feet of JD Vance. MAGA people are all creepy and weird...

[-] Revan343@lemmy.ca 2 points 4 months ago* (last edited 4 months ago)

It's handy that he explemplifies it so well, though; many of the other Republicans manage to at least somewhat hide it.

It's like in Inglorious Bastards; I prefer Nazis to be out in the open, so nobody can forget what they are
