(Art by Chyche) Obviously, that possibility is long gone in the main continuity, but what about a timeline where Order 66 never happened and Palpatine was defeated that day? Do you think Ahsoka would be the type to want a family (i.e. a partner and children) or do you think she would want to remain single instead of settling down?

I read a bit of fan fiction ages ago that extrapolated on what would have happened if Anakin had, at the pivotal confrontation with Mace and Palpatine, made the choice to support Mace instead.

I liked the interpretation that it would have still resulted in Luke and Leia, since Padma would still have had the twins, but not in secret, and without force fuckery, would've survived childbirth.

In this timeline, it results in a new high republic era, Anakin as a master, raising his children and them being his anchor to the light side. The friction in the story came from the politics of the Council disapproving of his attachment to his family, but it is also politically difficult to kick out the person who just saved their hides.

While the story didn't touch upon Ahsoka's fate much, I would have loved to see a timeline where Ahsoka raised a family and her kids hanging out with the Skywalker's.

That alone has so much potential for storylines; there would still be remnant forces of separatists, rogue troopers, the death star plans being out there, and potentially Maul as well.

You don't get kicked out for having a family, they just get old and disapproving at you. Anakin was, and always will be, just being a dramatic bitch.

I thought Jedi couldn't have kids? They weren't supposed to have any emotional attachments.

Like, Luke and Lea were secrets, and the following generations were after the fall of the Jedi so no one was stopping them after.

I can't remember if/how midichlorians are passed down, but I know family lines are supposed to be similar power levels, so Jedis preventing Jedis from having baby Jedis for centuries was probably leading to less and less powerful Jedi.

Probably anyone on this sub knows more than me about this, so not trying to argue genuinely asking:

Was she not a Jedi because Order 66 happened? Or had she already quit training before and that's why she escaped?

I thought she just never made it past Padawan and went her own way after 66, but I honestly dont know

Spoilers for the Clone WarsShe left the Jedi Order during the events of the show due to being framed for a bombing and the Council ditching her. Anakin helps clear her name, but Ahsoka leaves the Order anyway due to being unable to trust in them anymore.

She later gets back in contact with the jedi but although she works with them, they do not welcome her back, with Mace even disdainfully calling her "Citizen Tano"

Yeah, the Jedi don't seem to take criticism well. And her leaving the order is some stark criticism.

They did in the Old Republic settings. I'm sure Disney will get around to fucking that up at some point, but for now it's as canon as it can ever be.

Depends. Would Anakin still go Vader later? Would he get married with Padme? Would Ashoka know about the kids and what would she think of them?

It can go many ways depending on the circumstances available.

Aren’t Jedi not supposed to have romantic relations, thus the entire reason something something dark side?
