This gal really did hear "be gay, do crime" and took it to heart. She'd also burned down a convent to help get her lover out of it, if memory serves me right. What a queen.
But by all means, Hollywood, make another superhero movie first.
I think this story is best capture by an obscure independant movie studie who are willing to do the original story justice. My feeling hollywood will try to make it "appeal to a wider audience" and somehow mess it up.
