Holy shit I never considered the fact that I can READ dragon ball. The intensity of the anime always put me off but I keep hearing about how good it is.
Manga so far is way better than the anime so check it out.
Can confirm: read the Manga for the story, watch the anime for the thrill of seeing Toriyama mash action figures together.
