The Venezuelan opposition must be understood as a grift, and this is part of that grift. Guaidó and his buddies made bank, and there are internal conflicts between María Corina Machado and Guaidó over who takes control of Venezuela's foreign assets that were stolen by the UK, Portugal, and the US. What I'm saying is, there's a lobby and a business incentive for influencers and Miameros to continue this grift. That's all it has become.
