I replied to that video that my favorite fallacy was the fallacy fallacy, the assumption that just because someone was using a logical fallacy means they are wrong, which of course, is wrong.

I was going to defend rhetoric PhD programs, since a lot are actually about rhetoric and composition, and there's a lot of pedagogical theory and practice that they research.
This guy seems pretty cut rate tho, and his CV shows him as like a principal or something and getting his PhD feels like it was just probably a credential for salary.
Oh yeah I'm a big believer in the humanities, I just like bullying my friends who insist they're not a branch of linguistics or semiotics or what have you (as if that's a bad thing)
