wtf-am-i-reading

My first read through of the comic: zero comprehension.
My second read through: okay, so there's a character upset, and a trans person not present is involved.
My third read through: Aha! The red person is upset because the blue person is misgendering a trans person. Presentation is a little strange, but oh well.

I totally missed the text in the first panel...I think my brain was trying to protect me from even a comdric version of such a dumb take.

That was the thrust of some terf article, this is just a comedic depiction of the sequence of events
