I love how the VP is just Joe Biden and he's every bit as thirsty for the blood of foreign children as the real thing 
lol yeah that was not lost on me.
I see dudes mad about the girl power. I did love how skilled she was at taking out major demons and it made sense capturing dante since she is basically the most skilled human warrior on the show. On top of that dante had several chances to kill her. In the dmc 3 game dante is shown naive and compulsive and screwed up there as well, lady was the disciplined hunter. Plus the armor reminds me of the game oni on ps2.
Tbh... And don't shoot the messenger.... The women were kinda done dirty in the show. I didn't really like this adaptation of Lady imo. The dialogue was 
which shankar does too often unfortunately.
Brother..... She is Lady. She literally takes out level 4 demons she doesn't need to swear in every line mate. Obviously being a government stooge is a character arc too. Arkham being taken out in flashbacks is a major blow to flesh out her character imo and I hope he isn't gone for good.
But they did lucie dirtiest of all. No way she gets captured by humans like that. Her power levels rival dante in dmc 2 and she defeats a demon lord. That to me is more jarring than cocky dante getting caught

and at least in some places they hate it and it went over their heads.

literally the point of the first game was human or demon both are capable of feelings and good and bad.
With the ending I'm really looking forward to season 2 now been a long time fan of the series so the restructuring it all to have more of a plot was great

The other realm is literally killing its native inhabitants because of the division of the two worlds and the humans are gunning down innocent refugees.
I thought it was low key based political commentary if a little heavy handed.
It also has really great animation. If they used any 3d trickery I could not tell.
I loved the ending of the season. Felt very 9/11 Era US. (Including the OST) Really hope we get at least one other season.
Music was also so on par, 3d stuff was like making some demons 3d but honestly didn't take away much for me.

I might be one of the few devil may cry 2 enjoyers but when I saw the CEO villain in the intro and Luca I knew this series was gonna use everything. With that ending I can see Dante's mood from 2 making sense now
I need the soundtrack. The music goes hard.
