something i see often (not on hexbear mashallah) is people accusing trump of being a “fake billionaire”, then creating this mythical “good billionaire” in their head. these people say all these rich pieces of shit we see flaunting their wealth are actually “fake rich people” and that “REAL rich people” are humble, don’t buy overly luxurious brands, etc etc. and im not even sorry saying this but how fucking stupid do you have to be to believe that? yeah its actually fake rich people buying all the mansions and yachts and gucci and they’re the ones going to epstein island. real rich people live in modest houses and wear brandless clothes from a cheap department store.

people are so brainwashed to worship wealth that they cant put two and two together in their head that the majority of rich people are subhuman freaks who do nothing but exploit and enact violence against the rest of us so they make up these fake “good billionaires” that dont exist and act like those made up people are gonna save us from the orange man and from elon, who these same people were saying was one of the “good billionaires” less than 5 years ago

sorry to rant. but fuck these people.

No one makes a billion dollars without the exploitation of fellow humans. There is no ethical way to be a billionaire.

NOOO WARREN BUFFET EATS ICE CREAM!!!!!!

[–] ElChapoDeChapo@hexbear.net 21 points 6 days ago (3 children)

The fact that libs still see Bill Gates as a "good billionaire" and can't remember how they thought the same about Elon just a few years ago because of their goldfish brains is really pissing me off

[–] OldSoulHippie@hexbear.net 19 points 6 days ago (1 children)

Pretty sure Bill Gates was on Epstein Island as well, but that's ok because he was just there to gather intel

[–] sweatersocialist@hexbear.net 11 points 6 days ago

they’ll never learn. and if whatever even more fucked up shit comes out about gates that finally turns libs against him they wont learn from that either that warren buffet isnt good, and mark cuban isn’t good etc etc.

Very interesting how Bill Gates went from public enemy number one in the 90s to wholesome good billionaire now. Surely it has nothing to do with his multi-billion dollar ~~propaganda~~ philanthropy department.

Yeah that and the "CoNvIcTeD fElOn!!!1!1!" bullshit as if there aren't countless innocent people who are rotting in our prison system falsely convicted or only guilty of breaking unjust laws

[–] very_poggers_gay@hexbear.net 20 points 6 days ago (1 children)

as if every sitting president hasn't overseen the killing of tens to hundreds of thousands of innocent people

Then pretend that the tan suit was the biggest Obama scandal. To chuds and libs it was because the war crimes don't register. This is a sick world

[–] sweatersocialist@hexbear.net 23 points 6 days ago (1 children)

oh god they’re the worst. its always some homophonic shit like that too

[–] Carl@hexbear.net 7 points 6 days ago

Then you call them out on it and they're all "I wOuLd SaY tHe SaMe ThInG iF tHeY wErE wOmEn" as if it makes it better that they're also misogynist.

[–] barrbaric@hexbear.net 14 points 6 days ago

Got a lib at work who insists it's not homophobic because "the joke isn't that they're gay, it's that they'd hate being called gay!" maybe-later-kiddo

wear brandless clothes from a cheap department store

that "style" of bourgeoisie actually wear normal looking clothes that are very expensive from some bougie fashion brand
like a boring grey sweater that costs two months rent

Libs when Bezos drives his corolla to his mega yacht: "Omg, he's just like me"

[–] sweatersocialist@hexbear.net 12 points 6 days ago

omg this ai photo of jeff bezos giving money to a waitress is so wholesome. this artificially generated fake act of charity proves we should not seize their wealth or even tax them

I wish people/libs could see how self evidently different life in the ruling class is compared to the lives of most of humanity, and how that will clearly lead to radically different behaviors and ideals.

Even if you don't want to acknowledge the systems of exploitation that billionaires require to exist, you have to inherently understand that billionaires have different, inaccessible life experiences, they're incapable of understanding what most of humanity understands of day-to-day life, socialization, civic responsibility, etc.

If good billionaires did exist, their antisocial tendencies would make them less compatible with society than most violent criminals.

I'd say it's the opposite. Most media is about rich people, created by rich people, performed by rich people. Not billionaires, sure, but far from having much in common with the vast majority of the working people in the world. Yet to Western libs, that's the world they imagine they live in. It's the "success mindset" where all the media they see reinforces a specific vision of the world that's basically only inhabited by (at the very least) upper middle class successful people (and characters who are "working class" still live in huge houses and look neat, wear good clothes, etc). The issue for these libs is that when they look at the actually existing bourgeoisie and they don't match the whitewashed version from the media, they resolve the cognitive dissonance by saying that the fictional version is actually more real than the real one.

[–] MasterBlaster@lemmygrad.ml 13 points 6 days ago

I think that just further highlights the disparity between media and the real world - imo a separate issue libs also struggle with. When you're raised on as much media content as a lot of westerners are, it leaves you alienated about what life is actually like.

I motion towards white collar workers gathering around the water cooler to discuss the latest shows, while blue collar workers like, actually hang out and drink after work. One of these groups is touching grass way more than the other.

there's nothing less fruitful to expend your mental energy on than the inconsistencies in liberals' minds. they're children, do yourself a favor and stop caring what they think and say

[–] sweatersocialist@hexbear.net 19 points 6 days ago

would be a lot easier if the dumb shit they think didnt dictate our entire existence but sadly the dumb shit they think has material consequences and its impossible to ignore that

[–] SootySootySoot@hexbear.net 1 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

I'd love to agree, but without some means to sway what libs think, building a popular class movement is nigh on impossible. I'm not saying any one of us is going to be an orator so good it turns the US communist overnight, or that us chatting amongst ourselves will magically create the next super communism idea, but confronting lib ideas and conversations around it is kind of an essential part of eventually achieving positive change.

Imagine David Koch, a billionaire, sitting down with his Economist and seeing an article about how "Clinton Named In SA Allegation". David is shocked and declares that "No billionaire would do such a thing". The next day he sits down to read his Economist again; and, this time, finds an article about Jeffrey Epstein, a billionaire, whose brutal actions make Clinton seem almost gentlemanly. This fact shows that David was wrong in his opinion, but is he going to admit this? Not likely. This time he says: "No true billionaire would do such a thing".

[–] SorosFootSoldier@hexbear.net 10 points 6 days ago (1 children)

While not billionaires, probably multi-millionaires, these two represent the white supremacist settler mindset that allows someone to accumulate millions of dollars at the expense of others.

sound of a billionaire toiling alone in a lab that he made with his bare hands working on his next genius invention for 16 hours straight as his lazy employees are calmly sleeping after playing video games he personally made Eureka! I have just cured another problem that has been a plague to mankind since the dawn of mankind and it will make a lot of money that will go to my charity that is already saving billions of lives. I am so tired and wish for a vacation of 2 hours after 10 years in my yatch that I designed myself but alas I can't as the people are dependent on me to solve all their problems. Woe is me! It is so lonely at the top! I wish the people understood how I felt on the inside but it is my duty as a charismatic, hard working, hyper empathetic super genius with a heart full of love for all the creatures of this world to fix their problems and inspire them all by being the best rolemode I can be. I must be selfless and truly deserving of all the money my loving supporters give me by using it for their good. This is my purpose!

Tbh, why should I care about this rhetoric? It's as laughable as Trump saying that Schumer is Falastini

The only thing they gain from saying this word vomit is the self-vindication that the system is good and that Trump is an exception to it.
