Because of the repeated UK and USA-led genocides, we're going to remove the English language from the game too, right? 
Didn't all of the generic non-story-critical NPCs speak Russian even when playing in English? Did they patch out cheeki breeki

The devs are Ukranian and the comments had a lot of anti-russian sentiments on steam from what I recall.
The soviet union created the modern Ukrainian state but they would like to pretend nothing happened 1920-1990
Rather than the 70 years as a SSR I bet they fixate on a weird period of 1941-1944 Ukraine

I read the Roadside Picnic book that inspired this series, it's pretty cool but I have no interest in trying out the games
The STALKER film is absolutely worth a watch, but it has even less in common with the games!
