badposting is a comm where you post badly

This is not a !the_dunk_tank@hexbear.net alternative. This is not a !memes@hexbear.net alternative. This is a place for you to post your bad posts.

Ever had a really shitty bit idea? Joke you want to take way past the point of where it was funny? Want to feel like a stand-up comedy guy who's been bombing a set for the past 30 minutes straight and at this point is just saying shit to see if people react to it? Really bad pun? A homemade cringe concoction? A cognitohazard that you have birthed into this world and have an urge to spread like chain mail?

Rules:

  1. Do not post good posts.
    • Unauthorized goodposting is to be punished in the manner of commenting the phrase "GOOD post" followed by an emoji that has not yet been used in the thread
    • Use an emoticon/kaomoji/rule-three-abiding ASCII art if the rations run out
  2. This is not a comm where you direct people to other people's bad posts. This is a comm where you post badly.
  3. This rule intentionally left blank.
  4. If you're struck for rule 3, skill issue, not allowed to complain about it.

Code of Conduct applies just as much here as it does everywhere else. Technically, CoC violations are bad posts. On the other hand: L + ratio + get ~~better~~ worse material bozo

you always get high quality sleep but you always fall asleep (instantly regardless of your level of alertness or the urgency of the situation) 16 hours after you wake up.

That sounds like an accident waiting to happen. The instant sleep part.

Now if you slowly got super tired it would be one thing.

you can schedule to get into bed by the time it happens. it's part of the curse.

As someone who has suffered from bad chronic insomnia my entire life the downside would have to be way more extreme for me to turn down guaranteed high quality sleep.

Same thing that happens to me already but I'm well rested instead of exhausted? Hell yeah!

you can adjust how long you sleep but only within a range of 7 - 9 hours. after 9 hours you're forced awake and you physically can't wake up until you've slept at least 7 hours.

That sounds fucking amazing

I've been having this exact state of affairs ever since I decided to cold turkey drop using my phone in bed. I sleep really, really well, but I think my body had gotten used to being kept awake by doomscrolling so now I find it hard to even stay awake a certain amount of time after I wake up.

Yeah absolutely.

yea

if it was an irregular amount of hours to be awake that's one thing, but this just sounds like it'd force you into a very consistent sleep schedule

if something happens at night im cooked but that's okay hehe :3
