Lmao I think I know where that is unless every American city is going through that. The stuff I hear from my family over there helps to remind me how bizarre US political awareness is.

I'm only going because one of my lib friends is cashing in a favor with me and I figure I can start sowing some seeds of discontent
my lib mother wants to go to the NO KINGS protest tomorrow and I was opposed to bothering, but my friend (she's also my oldest friend's wife) also wants to go and hasn't ever been to a protest so I'm going to do it despite the whole thing being idealist stupidity. Neither my mom nor my friend has ever been to a real protest. My mom bought a plastic glittery red white and blue american flag cowboy hat. I'm gonna wear a mask because it's going to be the most embarrassing event I've ever gone to. We'll still probably get tear gassed by cop dipshits, too.
