This is such a niche ass story that trying to search it up just brings up this twitter thread.

The job of "economists" is to spread misinformation. I don't think reasoning has ever been involved. They are not interested in scientific pursuit. "Economists" are playing team sports. AI makes it that much easier to spin up new talking points, while debunking them takes time and effort.
