It's an odd coincidence.

dude went out of his way to leave info about his CTE and kill himself, with a rifle, by shooting himself in the chest. not an casual thing to pull off. apparently he wanted his brain to be examined by doctors. And, the NFL's hq is in that same building, different floor.

perhaps he made a mistake, got off the elevator and started blasting, perhaps he planned to gun down both floors? but from what I've seen reported so far, nobody really knows
