Ppl always say "fortune cookie" but no one calls it "meme cookie"

[-] mateomaui@reddthat.com 2 points 1 year ago

It could be a misfortune cookie

“fucked relationships.”

Get out of my head. Came here to post pretty much the same words.

No, at the end of the fortune you say "in bed"

It makes it middle school funny.

[-] Rinna@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago

I forgot about that lol

[-] Nusm@lemm.ee 16 points 1 year ago

They obviously left out a word.

“relationships. amiright?”

[-] CarbonatedPastaSauce@lemmy.world 13 points 1 year ago

That’s deep.

[-] spittingimage@lemmy.world 9 points 1 year ago

This means something. I can feel it in my bones.

[-] dandroid@dandroid.app 9 points 1 year ago

No, I think that's correctly printed.

[-] Vertelleus@sh.itjust.works 7 points 1 year ago

You forgot to add "in bed," everyone knows that's how fortune cookies end.

[-] Unsustainable@lemmy.today 4 points 1 year ago

Sounds like a good fortune to me.

[-] skybreaker@lemmy.world 4 points 1 year ago

Definitely not misprinted. Why, you ask?

relationships.

[-] TheDourSalmon@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

Holy shit, I got this exact same fortune about 10 or 11 years ago! I held onto it for ages because it was so ridiculous. It's wild to see it's still in circulation, hahaha

[-] Rinna@lemm.ee 4 points 1 year ago

Maybe we were destined to meet?

[-] Sotuanduso@lemm.ee 3 points 1 year ago

relationships.

[-] guyrocket@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

One of my best typos: relationshit

[-] Thisfox@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 year ago

Seems to work with the "in bed" tradition I guess.

Our tradition is to declare a big question before we open a fortune. One that cannot be simply answered with a yes/no answer, like "What will I wish for when I am on holiday next week?" or "When will I meet these friends next?" or even a business question. The fortune then gets some context.

This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.

This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Just post some stuff and don't spam.
