I bet millions of dollars really helps with that

i've heard rumors (very much rumors) that big, anonymous donations dropped onto trans people's surgery fundraisers sometimes come from them or an agent donating on their behalf

something where they want to keep it on the downlow. fuck it was so long ago i wish i remember where i heard this

(honestly if i made it big and wanted to stay off the radar it would be fun to be the Tittie/Vaggie/Penii fairy godmother so i really hope it's true)

I think all 3 matrix sequels hold up much better than anyone remembers. Queer vibes, very dialectical etc

Yes! Reloaded is legitimately good imo.

[–] Le_Wokisme@hexbear.net 8 points 3 months ago (1 children)

reloaded and revolutions benefit a lot from being a double feature

[–] XiaCobolt@hexbear.net 7 points 3 months ago

Yeah revolutions is weak by itself but if it has the momentum of Reloaded is pretty good. Like Kill Bill Part 2

Ya I rewatched them recently and they were pretty good actually. Well, the first two, still haven't seen the latest sequel (Resurrections?).

I think the latest sequel is the best possible sequel they could do. It's meta about the series, why there is a sequel in the first place and why the new matrix is set when it is.

It reboots the status quo but in an interesting and changed manner that respects the victories of the original series. It's the anti-force awakens.

I agree. Which is why I was so confused people got so angry about it when it came out, to me the artist's intention was very very clear (in fact they just tell the audience lmao).

She's right about the fash coopting her work. It's what they do, they take shit and they twist it to their own evil ends. Big reason why they latched onto ai so fast.

[–] starkillerfish@hexbear.net 14 points 3 months ago

[–] Des@hexbear.net 11 points 3 months ago

really good. it came on cable TV late one night when i was still a teen and very much questioning everything about myself.

it didn't answer those questions but it did stir many things inside me. also I found out they made that movie like 15 years later

you really gotta

Great movie.

Love Caleb. It was weird to see him so serious and reverent. It was great to hear Lilly’s insight on the issue as well. She was spot on.
