Business-Man, Business-Man, does whatever a business can

[–] massive_bereavement@fedia.io 24 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Can he come this saturday for close of FY? Of course he can, his marriage is dead. Watch out! Here comes Business-man.

[–] frog@feddit.uk 8 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

Dead marriage is fitting for botj Business-man and Spider-man.

Marvel enjoys killing espouses as much as Disney's love for killing parents.

Spins a web, full of lies
The IRS, is his demise
Look out! Here comes the Business-man!

Private jet, drinking Bud!
He's going to party with young blood.
Is the prostitute alive or dead?
Take a look in the overhead.
Hey there, there goes the Business-man!

the very easy applying/hiring process in this comic is the most unrealistic part

[–] Rozz 9 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

He does however have great responsibility and great power

[–] MadMadBunny@lemmy.ca 9 points 3 weeks ago

Nah he’s middle management. All responsibility, no real power

It’s realistic if you’re a celebrity and the company made the decision to hire you before the interview started.

Panel 3 looks a bit like they're boning

[–] Eheran@lemmy.world 14 points 3 weeks ago

Why is he on his... table?

[–] Ephera@lemmy.ml 4 points 3 weeks ago

Spidey does appear to be pregnant in panel 4, so...

[–] Agrivar@lemmy.world 11 points 3 weeks ago (2 children)

I don't understand panel #3.

Spider-Man got his powers when he was bit by a radioactive spider, so the joke is that the business person is biting him to give him business powers

[–] rustyricotta@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 3 weeks ago

It could be that it's actually Peter that just has an easily influenced genome. Nothing special about the spider or the business man. Better pray that mosquitos don't like him.

[–] Dragonborn3810@lemmy.world 11 points 3 weeks ago

It took me a bit too! The hiring manager is biting spider-man, so that he'll become a business-man

[–] NecroticEuphoria@lemmy.ml 10 points 3 weeks ago

I thought he was more of a web developer...

[–] arrakeen_urbanite@feddit.online 7 points 3 weeks ago

That took me a minute 😆

[–] Honytawk@lemmy.zip 5 points 3 weeks ago (1 children)

I would have pegged Spiderman as a webdeveloper instead.

[–] TropicalDingdong@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

I would have pegged Spiderman (...)

Enough said.

[–] vga@sopuli.xyz 4 points 3 weeks ago

Stupid sexy spiderman

[–] supergrizzlybear@pawb.social 4 points 3 weeks ago

does this imply the boss is radioactive?

[–] ekZepp@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

Accourant-man, Accourant-man! Does whatever an Accountant do!

[–] Someonelol@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 3 weeks ago

The guy who bit Spiderman wasn't really fat but somehow he gained weight on the fourth panel? Must be a stressful job.

[–] slysmy@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

the knee brace 😂

[–] aggelalex@lemmy.world 0 points 3 weeks ago

Spiderman is so irreplaceable for this Ventrue
