According to CNN, these are NFT "art" pieces?
the printed artworks are not just prints; they are in fact, NFTs, perhaps fitting for how many times NFTs have been called “bullsh” on the internet
They are “certificates of authenticity”, a joke on the NFT ownership craze of a while back.
I couldn’t find any photos of them tho.
would have been even better if they were tweets by them.
In case people are wondering, from left to right in the bottom image:
- Andy Warhol
- Mark Zuckerberg
- Elon Musk
- Pablo Picasso
- Beeple, real name Mike Winkelmann (the artist who made them), there are two of these
There is also a Jeff Bezos one not in that image but seen in the other images.
This being made by Beeple makes me almosr think that this is supposed to be positive towards the billionares... He made millions off of nfts
I'd prefer to see their real heads on there.
Especially interesting given Beeple kicked off the NFT craze in a way.
art is not dead.
This would become "subversive" if they all had plastic guns, and red targets on their foreheads. Might make the tech companies rethink what they do.
I'd rather vote for these robots instead
