No, that was already in the works when Last Jedi came out. They decided to destroy America because a woman had the audacity to ask "aren't nerds weird about women?"

To be fair Rose's character and that whole star wars movie were absolute garbage. Pretty good reason to destroy american hegemony

Episode 8, The Last Jedi. It is unfortunately a very bad movie.

And it's arguably the best of those sequel movies. Such a waste of some talented actors.

It's the only one of the sequels that didn't try and be a soft reboot of the original trilogy, with a beat by beat recreation of the OT. Fans hated it. Then again, they also hated The Force Awakens for being A New Hope with a different hat. They also hated the Prequels for being goofy and completely different.

The lesson here is you can't please Star Wars fans, except with something like Rogue One. But then the general audience hates it and it doesn't print nearly as much money.

Eh. I watched it and laughed a lot. I was way past caring to much about star blort at that point.

All she gets to do is scold Oscar Isaac, unfortunately lol

She also gets to do a hyperspace ramming manoeuvre, and I don't care what you fucking nerds say, that scene was cool.
