[70/70] A Tire (hexbear.net)
submitted 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) by LeylaLove@hexbear.net to c/mutual_aid@hexbear.net

So my housemate has a car, and he's willing to give me rides on the late night shifts where I usually take Ubers. Problem, one of his tires is out. He's driving on a donut in the winter, and we just got hit with a big snow storm, with another on the way. If I can help him with this tire, I won't have to pay for another $20 Uber in the middle of the night, and I'll be able to support a friend. After that, I just have to give him occasional gas money, but it's only 4 miles from my house to work. And to explain the high Uber cost for a 4 mile ride, my fast food job is in the middle of the queer clubbing zone of my city. So getting an Uber at 1 in the morning over there has me paying clubbing prices for just leaving work.

Also to add this because I didn't even think about it, I can barely walk right now I messed up my leg, so a bike is out of the question for now.
