I fucking hate appeals to morality. Why are you appealing to someone who lacks any semblance of a moral compass. Appeals to morality only work in the movies.
The most infuriating version of this is whole hypocrisy angle liberals love to take. They don't seem to understand how someone could have different standards for their allies and their enemies. Denying reproductive healthcare and directly killing people with wombs is not inconsistent with being "pro-life" if you don't value the lives of people with wombs.
I suspect they don't really understand what it means to have friends OR principles
My landlord just recently tried to pull the move where they make you do work for them and then immediately after give you notice to leave
I yelled in his face and called him on (honestly only half of) the shit he's done since I moved in and you can tell all he feels is victimized

lol this absolutely does not happen, there are entire industries dedicated to providing their justifications for them. at most they will be like "wow all the hard choices I had to make... for the greater good maybe... mortals can never really know... Yeah, two things I left out in this post. One, it's a total fantasy with no basis in reality at all. Two, if you pull at the thread of "the way I feel for no reason" it will probably unravel into "the way I feel specifically because I'm forced to live in the very world these people have created"
They invented effective altruism just to be able to further delude themselves into not being introspective about their actions.

They will never feel bad or regret it at all. Their moral system is completely different from ours.
They see things in a matter of Strong vs. Weak. To be Strong is good, to be Weak is evil.
The things they do show how Strong they are. And the things we suffer, and our incapability of doing anything about their deeds, show how Weak we are.
They have nothing but contempt and hate for us. They see themselves as superior, post-human, almost divine. God doesn’t fret the lives he takes, the sacrifices he demands, the suffering he causes.
