NOT ONE PERSON has paid any consequences[*], just why in the fuck would anyone "move on" from the most notorious pedo ring in history?

[*] Oh, okay, one woman is in prison. No one else, even though we have all these names of men.

[–] Triumph@fedia.io 45 points 1 month ago (1 children)

One woman is in a minimum security prison with work release.

[–] normanwall@lemmy.world 26 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (1 children)

She got moved there from a more secure prison after a confidential meeting with the guy who is the presidents former personal lawyer IIRC

[–] Triumph@fedia.io 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] harmbugler@piefed.social 4 points 1 month ago

Yet Donald raped children?

[–] bhamlin@lemmy.world 12 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Hey, that prince got mean looks from his family. That has to count for something right?

[–] adb@lemmy.ml 8 points 1 month ago (2 children)

He had to relinquish his title! The horror! Have you no sympathy?

[–] HermitBee@feddit.uk 5 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Hang on, after this latest tranche of photos, he's going to have to move into a 5 bedroom house! That's barely enough for him, his 2 daughters, and his ex-wife who took those daughters to Epstein's house when they were children and he had recently been released from prison for fucking children, should they want to stay. That's only like one bedroom for the help...

[–] bhamlin@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

I didn't know! What horror! It's a shame that cruel and unusual punishment must be legal there!

[–] Rothe@piefed.social 6 points 1 month ago

Because one of the biggest Epstein-collaboraters says so of course.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Well, across the pond, a Lord has been unlorded, and a prince has been disemprinced. Or whatever you call it.

Edit: still across the pond, Starmer's scheming right-wing chief of staff has now also fucked off.

Its annoying that in the press briefings that journalists never ask the obvious questions of:

"so if there is not enough evidence to charge others then why aren't investigations being started into those who have been named? "

"Is the DOJ no longer willing to investigate credible reports of pedophilia?"

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 4 points 1 month ago

I honestly wish they would frame things by asking why they are so quick to go after the likes of Don Lemon or Adam Schiff or quickly name a victim of ICE thuggery who is now dead as being an "insurrectionist", and YET, they seem so hesitant to go after credible reports of pedophiles.

Why this huge disparity in leaping to judgement and action in these other cases, but this endless stonewalling on pedophiles?

I had to laugh when I saw James Bowman The Couch Banger saying that Donvict was correct in telling a female reporter to smile more because journalism is so adversarial. LOL, they are throwing softballs nearly all of the time. Even Kaitlan's question was rather mild, to be honest.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 month ago

"What are the DOJ's criteria for deciding which pedophiles to protect?"

[–] kalkulat@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago (1 children)

But lots and LOTS of people are resigning their jobs around the world. The last one will be the, uh, cherry on top.

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Is there a list? I know I saw at least one headline of one of these perps resigning.

When do they go to prison?

[–] kalkulat@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago

LOL well CharlesDarwin, you know, they're too evolved for prison ... they just go hide somewhere until everyone forgets...

[–] Archangel1313@lemmy.ca 55 points 1 month ago (6 children)

Anyone remember Qanon and their obsession with a network of wealthy elites, trafficking kids for sex and who knows what else?

Yeah. Anyone heard from them lately? I would have thought they'd have more to say on this.

[–] RustyShackleford@piefed.social 28 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Anyone remember Qanon and their obsession with a network of wealthy elites, trafficking kids for sex and who knows what else?

Yeah. Anyone heard from them lately? I would have thought they'd have more to say on this.

It’s because most are wearing masks working for ICE.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 3 points 1 month ago

Well yeah, we have to stop these immigrants from raping kids. Duh

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 22 points 1 month ago

They are all Homer sinking into the hedge now.

[–] 7112@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

Moot's name was in the files. Even he met Epstein.

[–] meco03211@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago

They're still proving mathematically how the 2020 election was definitely stolen.

[–] phoenixz@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 month ago

The weird thing is that they were actually.righy! It's just that, you know, wrong political party

[–] Steve@startrek.website 2 points 1 month ago

Turns out it was jealousy

[–] athatet@lemmy.zip 53 points 1 month ago (1 children)

Yes I’ll bet the child rapist wants us all to move on.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 4 points 1 month ago (1 children)
[–] athatet@lemmy.zip 2 points 1 month ago

He also murders and eats them.

[–] WanderWisley@lemmy.world 34 points 1 month ago
[–] Janx@piefed.social 32 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) (2 children)

The guy who's mentioned the most times in the illegally-censored Epstein files thinks we should just let these child rapists live their lives!? Come. The. Fuck. On.

[–] Whostosay@sh.itjust.works 9 points 1 month ago

Lol the amount of times he's mentioned means these are the Trump files.

I'd really like to see how many times Epstein's name comes up, because it has to be close or less. 38k is fucking insane. How many is it without redactions?

[–] CharlesDarwin@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Also, Dementia Donnie says that Kaitlan Collins should smile more.

[–] favoredponcho@lemmy.zip 30 points 1 month ago
[–] TommySoda@lemmy.world 25 points 1 month ago (1 children)

The only people that want to move on from the Epstein files are those that are in the Epstein files. Literally everyone else is ready to see consequences.

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 month ago

I want to move on to transparency, justice and full accountability. Nothing less.

We will move on once the files are released, and the guilty are punished... all of them.

[–] tonytins@pawb.social 14 points 1 month ago
[–] FalschgeldFurkan@lemmy.world 14 points 1 month ago (1 children)

That's like if you had the 9/11 pilots saying to just move on

[–] ctrl_alt_esc@lemmy.ml 7 points 1 month ago (2 children)

That's kinda what happened. If there is a country that had anything to do with it, it's Saudi Arabia, yet the US invaded Afghanistan and called it a day.

[–] HeyThisIsntTheYMCA@lemmy.world 5 points 1 month ago

iraq would like a word

[–] phutatorius@lemmy.zip 1 points 1 month ago

The Taliban were hosting Al-Qaida, so there was some reason, if not to invade, then at least to make some incursions. Iraq, on the other hand, was one of the most resolute enemies of Al-Qaida. It turns out that secular totalitarians don't like religious reactionary totalitarians. But Halliburton wanted all those contracts to rebuild the Iraqi oil industry after it had been bombed.

[–] abbiistabbii@piefed.blahaj.zone 11 points 1 month ago

I will not move on until Donald Trump gets the Mussolini treatment.

[–] thatradomguy@lemmy.world 9 points 1 month ago

The fuck do mean not easy? A judge literally gave them a deadline to release this shit already. They're literally breaking the law.

[–] etherphon@midwest.social 8 points 1 month ago

The more I read about it the more I think we should NOT move on, I thought it was just some crazy sex island and now it looks like he was basically controlling the world over there wtf.

[–] FreshParsnip@lemmy.ca 8 points 1 month ago

America should move on from MAGA

[–] grumpo_potamus@lemmy.world 7 points 1 month ago

Nah, I don't think I will.

[–] KingGordon@lemmy.world 6 points 1 month ago
[–] Almacca@aussie.zone 4 points 1 month ago (2 children)

America will. Once justice has been served.

"May not be that easy"? As if we should comply with what Trump wants? What the fuck is wrong with the BBC? I mean, besides the fact that its management ranks are still stacked with Conservatives appointed during the 14 years of Tory misgovernment.
