The owner class has a monopoly on violence, including financial violence.
Doing something they don’t like will result in more violence (against the poors).
One of them steals $300m and they don't bat an eye.
One of us steals $300 of food stamps and they freak out
You only need to steal $3 of food for them to freak out
Oh for sure, Desantis' wife was head of the charity that did some medicaid fraud where the funds went to Desantis' campaign.
Why cure the disease when treating the symptoms is more lucrative?
Actually insurance has shifted towards preventative care because it is NOT actually more lucrative to treat symptoms in the current US medical system. At least not anymore.
It may be more lucrative for places like the hospitals who get paid for the treatments, not preventative doctor visits. But for the insurance companies, those hospitals charge a lot more than your primary care or specialist in an office.
I really want what you're smoking, because the statistics say everything to the contrary...including the exclusion of dental care from the ACA.
This is just wrong. Insurance is more barbaric than ever.
Are you high?
