What is the evolutionary advantage of my butthole being able to taste spicy....?

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 5 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago) (1 children)

You could probably light a smoke like a car cigarette lighter.

Wait. Taste?

[–] Force_majeure1234@aussie.zone 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

It doesn't get the garlic, onion, capsicum, sugar, vinegar... Just the spicy. Pretty annoying

[–] CEOofmyhouse56@aussie.zone 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Right. Got it now. Spicy punches all the others out of the way.

[–] Force_majeure1234@aussie.zone 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

This is also why I like to eat ass, what a conundrum.

You should order that for breakfast tomorrow.

Any sensitive skin will taste the spicy. The spices even speed up your digestion because you're intestines taste them. It's not that curries make people shit themselves, it's that people aren't used to the spice and fiber (lentils) to their body works to get it out faster.

A spicier version of lick, sip, suck.

it's one long poison detector from lips to bum

Maybe it's a 'don't eat that' reminder for anyone that didn't get the message the first time

Taste whether it's a fart or a shart iirc

Edit: as with most biology, this function is never 100%

I love when drivers go through red lights at pedestrian crossings and almost hit me.

The next cunt that does it is getting dragged out of his fucking car.

[–] Catfish@aussie.zone 7 points 1 day ago

I've been near smashed by so many cunts not stopping for trams in the past few weeks. Yesterday the driver got off and started yelling at people, it was majestic!

Morning guys. Moderately well rested, and contemplating making pancakes

No night out tonight sadly, budget doesn't allow it.

Pretty disappointed tbh, but yeah it is what it is.

Fucking lame.

PSA for anyone doing meal planning today: Pancake Tuesday is this week, giving you the opportunity to indulge in as many pancakes as you like without anyone questioning your meal choices.

For anyone wanting the ultimate pancake challenge I have managed pancakes for all three meals one year. Sweet pancakes for breakfast, Japanese vegetable pancakes (okinomiaki) for lunch and filled savoury crepes for dinner.

[–] kruetz@aussie.zone 5 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I've just finished making a batch of cheese, bacon, and spring onion pikelets that ended up about three times thicker than regular pancakes, and they've already started to disappear ...

[–] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

That sounds like an interesting variation. Sort of a savoury muffin pikelet?

[–] kruetz@aussie.zone 2 points 1 day ago

Yeah, that's a good description. It's a variation on this recipe, based on the contents of our fridge.

Casually slips into Babylon 5

Who are you?
What do you want?
Why are you here?
Where are you going?
Do you have anything worth living for?

Oh dear, startled a homeless man in my elevator on the way out for groceries. I think this happened earlier in the week too, I passed two police officers in my buildings lobby at around 715am earlier this week. Plus a month or two ago I came across a clearly drug affected man lying in the elevator in the morning... Our building needs a swipe card to get into after hours so idk how it's happening. We're not in a dodgy location either.

This morning the man said "sorry, I do apologise", and scuttled out of the elevator with a plastic bag with items in it, but that was on my 10th floor... I waited at the tram stop for my tram in view of the building for the next 5 mins and didn't see him exit. I wonder if he'll be there when I get back.

Edit: I'm back and didn't see him

Ah, you’re having my usual experience
