Tools
Tools of all sorts are welcome. They include hand tools, power tools, automotive tools, welding, etc...
Definitely this. My dad and I used to use one just like this when I was learning.
So all I know is,
PULL!
Pull what, and how do you set it up?
Just PULL!
Strange though with the manual ones there is no pulling. Before, there was a cord attached to an auto thrower. You'd pull the cord for the other person doing the shooting. I believe that's where the expression comes from (could be wrong though) I do remember pulling the cord though.
As for that launcher it's nifty. You basically roll the sporting clay down the track and the arm with the nub(its a wheel) will open and then some spring tension would hold it tight.
The arm would close just over half way so the clay can fly out.
Once the clay is in you, fold the arm and track back towards the handle and it stays in place by how the spring is bent and now pulling toward the arm. (Not sure how to explain it any better)
To throw... it takes practice I broke so may clays. My dad would show off by shooting the pieces. The throw is kind of like swinging a tennis racket at a ball near your hip.
The clay holder part also swings so its like a throw and it also throws. Like a bat that also has another spring loaded bat on the tip. It gives extra speed to your swing.
Pretty cool actually but super hard to explain.
Okay I had to go look what the hell a clay pigeon is, them’s the clay disks people shoot at for target practice and competitions.
A tool that anyone with round dinner plates needs so that they can whip their flatware into the cabinets or dishwasher.
Or clay pigeons. But sending your hand-me-down Corelle across the kitchen at 40 mph is way more fun.
It's clearly a buttfor.
For pooping, silly!
It's a jelly knocker. See anyone holding a jar of jelly? Knock that son bitch right out their hands!
I'm guessing some kind of wire stripper.
Just because it's the most likely tool someone wouldn't recognize.
As others have pointed out, a picture or even description would help immensely
Changing my answer to copper pipe bender.
Not many people know, before we had robots to bend stuff, puny humans had to do it with rudimentary machines like pictured
Edit: Ignore, fixed now.
I'm not seeing any image here. You may need to fix your post.
It kinda looks like something you would score and cut tiles with. Source: My ass...
We're going to need more to go on. Maybe a picture would help.
