They were never trying to get to weapons grade and they have the right under international law to have enrichment for their power grid. They even stated that they would give up that an they were still bombed anyway. It was never about uranium.

Until next year, when they will be just 6 weeks to a nuclear bomb.

[–] SlurpingPus@lemmy.world 4 points 3 hours ago

Just need to wait a few weeks, he'll say that Iran has it again.

Bibi needs a war going on, otherwise he is giving up his presidency..

[–] inari@piefed.zip 9 points 6 hours ago

That's too bad, Israel definitely needs some deterrence

So...they're going to stop bombing them now?

No, and it never will. Stop asking that! The beatings continue

That would defeat the purpose of allowing the government of Israel to stay in power without an election until they can make sure they stay in power. Ceasefire or no, they will be reaching across the border whenever they need a domestic political boost under some pretext.

Is Bibi looking for an off-ramp? Cause it's not up to him anymore. It's up to Mojtaba now, or whoever else is left after they kill him. They can keep destroying the world economy with a few drones a day for many years to come.

Bibi and Donny keep saying stuff where there is no evidence while they have a track record of lying through their teeth.

I very distinctly remember that Trump obliterated this last year.

Must be a slow news day.

They re-obliterated it. Don't make them re-re-obliterate it.

I'm picturing that family guy bit with the Amish barn.

Iran no longer has the capacity to enrich uranium or make ballistic missiles after 20 days of U.S.-Israeli air attacks

I suspect that the enrichment capacity was probably gone after the earlier bombing that specifically targeted it, but the ballistic missile production capacity wasn't.

Operation Midnight Hammer Drops 14 Bunker Busters in Record B-2 Strike Against Iranian Nuclear Sites

A bomber mission of seven B-2 Spirit bombers and more than 30 Tomahawk Attack Missiles fired from an Ohio-class guided-missile nuclear submarine struck three Iranian nuclear sites at Natanz, Isfahan and Fordo, Pentagon officials confirmed on Sunday.

That was almost a year ago.

[–] TwilitSky@lemmy.world 17 points 9 hours ago

Oh, that's because it's a lie.

not even then, lol. we missed. (and they may never have had the capacity.)
