Imagine if the dumbest person in the world and humanity’s biggest asshole were the same person, and that guy was president. Then imagine he started a war with Iran. Now check the news. One look, and here’s what you should be thinking: “Yep, that tracks.”

Literally everyone on earth except Republicans and mainstream media journalists: "Yeah, we know."

… but power, influence, and immunity corrupted the hive mind. It’s clear the virus has infected the republicans, independents, and democrats. All leaders and policy makers are responsible for this decay of democracy. Love your country, beware your “leaders”.

Well, and his desire to distract from how he's a pedo.

Imagine having the power to keep him out of office and throwing it away because politics is complicated and flawed.

People on the Left are scared to use stupidity as a cause for things and so they underestimate its pervasiveness. It would be better if we could just admit that a lot of people are fucking idiots and need to be prevented from making important decisions.

Hanlon's razor: "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."

When dealing with most Republicans (excluding the Rapist in Chief who is both stupid and malicious) it is much more accurate in reverse, "Never attribute to stupidity that which is adequately explained by malice."

Case in point: J.D. Vance says Americans should find comfort in the fact that our allies are "suffering more than we are" from high gas prices.

Republicans are sadists who believe everyone else is also sadistic. They think it's normal to feel comfort and joy when others suffer.
