A future where the owners defeat the proletariat is the exact opposite of what Marx predicted. It's also suspicious that the tech bros are concerned that people are miserable.
I'm so used to all these tech bros and billionaires being total pieces of shit that don't care about anybody but themselves, that I interpreted when they said, everyone is miserable, as meaning all of the tech bros and billionaires are miserable.
But that's probably just my wishful thinking, hoping that they would be finally miserable after all the bad things that they've done.
This comment covers the core inaccuracies but also, while it's true they do want to let AGI decide everything, they also tend to think animals and nature are expendable (a side effect of "Effective Altruism" as a philosophy). I'd include something about how they think as long as they're creating more "value" (in their opinion, since nobody else's matters) somewhere and can fly off into space forever or "live" in utopic simulations, it's fine for the planet to be destroyed. Also, I'd include something about Epstein because it's in the files he was so racist and eugenicist, he was literally seeking support for killing off poor people.
I think more people need to know about the incredibly dangerous, potentially world-ending dogma infecting Silicon Valley (TESCREAL). For those who have the time, this vid (Youtube | Invidious) does a fascinating and horrifying deep dive on all the sub-philosophies of the TESCREAL acronym.
They are miserable and not buying things
